Led Zeppelin was an English rock band. They sometimes called “Zep” or “Led Zep”. They started in London in 1968 and broke up in 1980. In 1969 they release 1st album in the US, not in the UK, their home country. "The band have hit and sold over 200 million albums worldwide." They are famous for heavy, guitar-driven blues-rock sound in heavy metal and hard rock music. Led Zeppelin preferred to develop the concept of “album-oriented rock”, so they didn't release songs from their albums as single in the UK. Led Zeppelin ended in 1980 after the accidental death of John Bonham, drummer. The band is said that they are “one of the most influential rock bands of all time and one of the most successful music artists in history”.
